The Story …
Since graduating University in 2014 with a BA First Class Honors in Journalism, I gratefully accepted a position as an SEO copywriter for a small wedding company in South London. From this point, I became passionate about everything ‘wedding’. I found myself browsing Pinterest during my lunch hour; pinning images to boards and being inspired by all the amazing, quirky idea’s that the modern-day bride has at her disposal. From working alongside the Managing Directors, it is safe to say I learnt from the best.
In 2016, it was with a heavy heart that I made the decision to leave my London-lifestyle job and start up my own venture. This is when Design My Wedding (DMW) was born. In the early days of set up, DMW was an inspirational blog for engaged couples, since then, it has developed into an incredible wedding directory. I am proud to host some of the UK’s leading and most finest suppliers that all have beautiful products or services to offer engaged couples.
It is wonderful to watch DMW continually populate with so many incredible suppliers and be such a fantastic planning tool for couples. There is a lot more exciting plans for the future, so watch this space…
